Shannon and Jeff's Wedding...

July 17th was a hot, and beautiful day in Port Elgin! Perfect, for Shannon and Jeff's Wedding! Having everything near Shannon's family cottage makes it all the more special for the both of them. The cottage has belonged to Shannon's family for sometime. I know this, because when I got to their cottage Shannon pointed out a dalmatian sculpture sitting by the shed and said "Oh that's been their since I can remember." With that being stated it's a place where a lot of memories have been made with family, friends, and now as newly weds.

The girls looked gorgeous, and had a blast getting ready at another cottage not to far from Shannon's family one. The guys headed down to the water and prepared for all guests to arrive. When Shannon walked down to see Jeff, they had a steel drummer play down by the beach and a heart made from stones, that family and friends placed for Shannon and Jeff to stand in during the ceremony. What else could I say ....It couldn't have been more perfect!

Melissa and Aaron's Wedding...

Melissa and Aaron were married at the Wedding Chapel in Kitchener. The day was amazing and it all seemed to go by so fast! I arrived at Melissa and Aaron's home where the girls were getting ready for the big day, but when I got there, they still had not finished up from the hair salon in time for photos. So I called Melissa and told her that I was on my way to the salon to capture her getting ready photos. It's so important to record the story of the day!

Time was tight! By the time Melissa got back to the house she had less then a half hour to get into her dress, and get to the chapel. Needless to say, Melissa was fashionably late to the wedding, but she was as stunning as ever, and both families couldn't be more proud!

It's so exciting to see two of your friends that met in high school mature, fall in love, have a beautiful little boy, and get married. I personally couldn't be more proud! Congratulations to you both.

Melissa and David's Wedding...

On June 26th, Melissa and David were married at Marden Park outside by the water. It was a rainy morning, but the sky got it all out before the ceremony began. Melissa looked amazing and David turned out to be the blushing groom! He was glowing as soon as he saw Melissa walk down with her father. After the ceremony I don't think David could keep his hands off Melissa!

Finishing up the family photos at Marden Park the wedding party was off to get their photos taken at Riverside Park in Guelph. We had a ton of fun there and shared a lot of great laughs! When all the photos were done, the party made their way to the limo but before they all got in they started to dance! They had a blast:) As they were dancing a bus load of tourist's were so intrigued by the wedding party and all their great moves the tourist's all started taking their photos. It was a moment worth catching!

The Davidson's

Summer time is here! The season of family photos. It's all about changing up some of the old home images for new and updated ones. Also the importance to getting them done at least once a year, especially when you have children. I believe that it is always interesting and wonderful to see change in a frame.

Sarah Davidson contacted me last month for all the same reasons... to get some more up to date photos of her family for their home in Platsville. She has such a beautiful family, inside and out! Sarah's family was so fun, welcoming, and unforgettable. I really felt like a cousin in such a short time. They teased Becky my assistant and I the second we got there it was awesome!

Apparently, Sarah's sister in-law Lisa got a phone call that I got in town early and had stopped into Platsville's local and only bar to get something to eat. Lisa told me they have a close family friend that was working in the back that called her to let them know I was in town early. So the joke is happy hour starts early for us... but it really just happened to be the only place open to get a bite to eat:)
