Growing in the Arts

Hey Everyone!

Currently, I have been doing a lot of thinking about what exactly is the best way to really bring in others to be apart of my work on a regular basis and blogging is for sure a great way to give you up to date news of my most recent photo shoots. Even to express personal opinions and thoughts of myself and others. For about 3 years now I have been shooting seriously, and it's developed in to a real personal passion and career. Art has always been and will always be close to me. Watching my mother paint and draw at a young age distracted me. I was totally and completely fascinated at how self expression could be captured on paper, I was even more fascinated at how many different styles of art in the world there are. Dead set on being a studio arts professor I was lead into different directions, struggling to find where I felt I fit in best with in this array of artistic career paths. This past February I have just opened my first home-based photography studio and have had a great response! My first photo shoot for February was an exciting and true pleasure. Gita came to me to get some professional looking head shots. Shes a drama teacher and therapeutic expressive arts facilitator! What a cool job! She has been involved with young aspiring artists for over 20 years. AMAZING! As well as 30 years of dance, music and acting training. Her website is a must see, and the perfect way for little ones to develop in the arts.
