Eva's Friday Night

This past Friday night I got to take photos of Eva and it happened to be her first! She had asked for a fun shoot and if it was alright that her friend Neil came along. Of course I was perfectly cool with all that. Neil brought a covered tray to the studio and in my mind I said cookies! It wasn't cookies it was better Neil is employed at Iris as a manager in Uptown Waterloo and had brought some really nice eye glasses for the shoot. What a treat!

Amy Bridger came over and styled hair and makeup for Eva and what an amazing job she did. Eva and Amy have been friends for awhile and I know Amy couldn't have been more happy to be apart of it all. Eva did an amazing job and really made the shoot her own! I think it really made it a lot more fun having some of her friends there to see her get in front of the camera. We all had a really good time laughing really hard and listening to some of Amy's finest stories.

Shannon and Jeff's Engagement Photoshoot

Shannon and Jeff are getting married!!! They are such a cute couple that really do compliment each other. We went to to take some engagement photos in this really incredible little spot with water and forest called Snider's Flats. Shannon and Jeff brought their dog Hunter who was so well behaved and a real treat to have in the shoot. She Jumped in the water, chased after sticks and even tried to carry around huge tree logs in her mouth.

We walked around on the trail and found this field of milk weeds. If you have ever busted one open you would know that they are a ton of fun. Well Shannon and Jeff tried it and what turned out to be innocent photo taking in the field turned out to be a milk weed fight with the couple. I loved it!

Melissa and David's Engagement Shoot

Congratulations Melissa and David I can't wait till your special day. It was a beautiful engagement shoot in Elmira where Melissa grew up a place very close to her heart. Melissa and David meet in North Bay at Nipissing University. After their studies they moved to Korea for year to teach.

Melissa and David told be about this really cute deli in Elmira that makes these really incredible cheese balls. I had to buy one for myself it didn't take much convincing. Thank you so much for intruding me to the Elmira cheese ball. Honestly it's my new favorite cheese it does go amazing with crackers and bagels.

Fun Photos with Becky!

Recently I had asked Becky to be apart of some of my creative photography. She couldn't be more happy that I asked, in fact she couldn't stop talking about it for weeks. That was the best compliment I could ever ask for. She's been working really hard at work that she loved the idea of the focus being on her and being able to relax and have a good time.

We decided on taking some photos at Decorators Corner where Becky lives during the week working and some in Elora because it's such a beautiful town this time of year. This past weekend we had some amazing weather and it couldn't be better for taking photos. Samantha Gauthier came out and did the hair and makeup and what a great job she did. Thank you to both of you for your amazing personality's and talents.

Carley's Birthday Toronto Shoot

Carley celebrated her 16th birthday in style! We spent a full day in Toronto taking fun photos and brunch at the Hot House. The food is pretty amazing there, and a place I would recommend and plan on revisiting. Carley and her friends do competitive dance and a true passion that she has dedicated a lot of time to.

Carley's mom Cheryl who is a good friend of mine got Carley So You Think You Can Dance tickets for her and her friends as Carley's birthday present. They had an amazing time meeting everyone and the dancers and being filmed in parts of this past Tuesday's viewing. Who knows maybe on day they will be on the show as dancers pursuing a dream.

Melissa and Aaron's Engagement Shoot

Melissa and Aaron are getting married! Congrats you high school sweet hearts. I couldn't be more excited for the both of you and more privileged to be able to be doing the photography for the big day. The engagement shoot was a blast from the past.

We took some shots in Waterloo and then made our way back to our old high school where Melissa and Aaron first met and where they started dating. We had great weather for the shoot and Rez from the outside really hasn't changed much, but we sure all have. After Rez we made our way to a little trail with water and trees in Kitchener.
